WHO I AM
I am a Los Angeles based creative with a passion for story telling and a film/tv habit that just won't quit.
I was raised in the San Fernando Valley (cue: universal eye roll) where I attended at least two Notre Dame High School football games before graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2009.
I then absconded to Washington, D.C. to pursue my passion for art at The George Washington University. During my tenure, I made the fatal mistake of working on a film set over the summer and instantly fell in love with the creative process of filmmaking.
Abandoning my dreams of becoming the next Indiana Jones, I graduated in 2013 with my B.A. in Art History and minor in French Literature and Creative Writing; returning to Los Angeles to pursue the life-long existential crisis of working in Hollywood.
Having cut my teeth with a few PA gigs for a commercial producer, I started out like many other industry hopefuls do-- working at Central Casting. With valuable experience and indeed some harrowing personal encounters with background under my belt, I then went on to work for a talent agency and later a production company.
HOW I WORK
I bring a discipline to my work that is based in boring academic stuff, like: writing, researching, critical analysis, etc. I then spice it up with creative writing, avid reading, world building and character development.
As an executive I am never satisfied with anything short of excellent. I bring a dauntless spirit and ironclad work ethic to every endeavor, as the foundation of any team effort.
Storytelling is not just something that I'm a bit fanatical about, it's also an essential element of the human experience that I'm devoted to as a worthy life-long pursuit.
SOLD?
If I haven't sold you yet, you should know that I've also worked in a restaurant before...so I'm Hollywood official.
